NOVEMBER.
Baguio Arts Festival
. Every 2nd week of November. Baguio City.

Helobong Festival Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. 9-11. The T'Boli in its colorful best through the natives' traditional songs, dances and crafts.

Kalimudan Festival. Isulan, Sultan Kudarat. 21. A tribal fiesta with major ethnic groups joining in the fun.

Higantes Festival. Angono, Rizal. 23. Known for its artists, this town's fiesta is highlighted by a grand procession of impressive 10-feet high papier mache puppets.

Dumaguete. 24-25. The City of Dumaguete celebrates its feast day.
 
DECEMBER. Christmas Festivities last from December 1 through the 2nd Sunday of January. In Vigan, Ilocos Sur, festivities start the last week of November. In Makati, many buildings along the financial districts' main streets are decorated, more often than not enhancing the city's look--especially at night.

Feast of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. 8. Malabon, Manila, Vigan. In Malabon, a fluvial parade takes place along the Malabon River.

Feast of Our Lady of Caysasay. 8-9. Taal, Batangas. Fluvial parade.

Pagsanjan Town Festival. 12. Pagsanjan, Laguna.

Misas de Gallo. 16-25. Nationwide. Literally translates to "masses of the rooster" as people wake at dawn to go to church.

Maytinis. 24. Kawit, Cavite. reenactment of Joseph and Mary's search for shelter.

Binirayan. 4th week. San Jose, Antique. Commemorates the arrival of Malaysian datus on Panay.

Bota de Flores. Last Sunday. Ermita Church, Manila. Girls toss flowers onto the statue of Nuestra Señora de Guia.

Rizal Day. 30. Nationwide. Commemorates Dr Jose Rizal, the nation hero.

New Years Eve. 31. Lots of noise and some nice fireworks.
